since most of the adored bodies in hollywood are emaciated, what if i want to lose weight to an unhealthy extent? what if being healthy hasn't served me well in life? i think most women just want to be skinny, at any cost.

If you want to lose weight to an unhealthy extent I think you have mental health (poor self image and self-esteem) issues that you should address before taking part an any weight management activity.

Being truly healthy can't serve you wrong! I think you meant being overly skinny has served you wrong. The thing is being overly skinny doesn't equal good health. There is a such thing as being under weight. Its actually more dangerous than being slightly overweight!

I think women who want to be skinny at any cost should strive for optimum health instead of looking skinny. If you truly strive for optimum health you will eventually love the way you look, I guarantee it! I loved my look at every stage of my journey because I knew that I finally had control over my body and it was happy! You are what you do!

What makes you tick?

Wow, That is a very general question. I guess I'll go mental. I have, in a way, found my calling in helping people gain access to products and services. I don't just mean retail. I love being the person that hands someone a good book I enjoyed and seeing them enjoy it too! I love educating a group of people on how to manage their waist lines and seeing them help others do the same. What makes me tick? I would say having the opportunity to building or better yet cultivate understanding with the intent of fueling a sustainable way of life, drives me! Thank you for asking me that question!

Eating Habits

Losing weight and feeling great is more than sweating a lot and eating "right". To keep the weight off you must provide your wonderful body with lots of energy in the form of Proteins, Carbohydrates, and Fats. Vitamins, minerals, and enzymes are also needed to ensure proper absorption and utilization of your food! But do not get caught up with all of that.

The most important thing you can do is eat! Breakfast should not be a luxury! Breakfast tells your body that it is time to start burning calories for energy. If you don't add anything to burn the body will burn its self! This doesn't feel good when it becomes chronic. Not eating cause your body to store unused calories as fat so it doesn't have to start breaking down muscle, your muscles, (lean protein) for energy! Eating breakfast and then following up with small meals or snacks every few hours or so is the best way to gain energy and maintain your waistline. Combine that eating regimen with water and a multi-day multi-vitamin to fill in the nutritional gaps if you must to ensure each day is healthier than the last!
